Your Team Web Site!

Your team web site is your inside track to your Passport trip as you prepare to be launched into Honduras for two months! Leading up to your Training Camp and your launch date we'll be sharing important information here that you want to know.

We'll be equipping you with some real practical nuggets to help you prepare for your experience, like how to blog, what gear to buy, and how to calm your parents down when they are sure something bad is going to happen.  We'll be highlighting some causes and ethical issues that may grab your heart around the world, and we'll be fostering discussion around those topics.  We'll be keeping you up to date on what's happening on the field and talking about what God is doing in their hearts.

The next several months will at times seem to drag on. At times they will seem as though they are flying by. Through it all you can connect with your team and with your Honduras Prep Team through this Web site.

PREP TEAM

Lauren:

I'm originally from south Texas and am a very proud Aggie from Texas A&M University! Since college I've known the Lord was calling me out into the nations so I headed out on The World Race a few months after graduating. That year was truly the wildest and most freeing adventure of my life. Since then I have been extremely blessed to lead 2 other squads on The World Race and just got off the field in November. The Lord has allowed me to come alongside Adventures In Missions this year to serve the staff and to continue to empower my generation to literally change the world through the love of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. For the next few months I will be helping you with anything and everything so that you are set up in the best possible way to head out. I'll be coaching you through support raising, passing along all the information you need, answering any questions you have, and praying like crazy for you as you prepare for this trip. I am so excited to get to know each of you and to see the journey the Lord takes you on over the next 6 months! If you want to anything else, feel free to contact me or check out my Race blog here.

Nick:

I’m from the great state of Michigan, that’s right, the one that looks like a hand! I grew up in Port Huron, which is right on the Canadian border. I used to be a middle school teacher and now, I am at the AIM offices working on blogs and field support. In 2010, I led three Passport trips, to India, Israel, and Kenya. I also just got married in October. I am here to help you gain some tools for the field. I love writing so I can help you with story telling. If you have any questions about or information on this site, feel free to contact me. You can check out my blog here.
